ASICS Glideride 3 ($150)
Initial Review of the ASICS Glideride 3 which gets a very positive major ride update. It gets softer and more energetic FlyteFoam Blast+ and FlyteFoam Propel foams that completely changes the ride and feel.
The Glideride 3 is now far smoother and more forgiving while also lighter by 26g/ 0.9 oz to about 9.65 oz / 273g US9 (lighter foams for sure assisted by a less massive heel counter). It is now also commendably light for a max cushion 40mm heel / 30mm forefoot stack shoe.
No changes to the outsole, overall geometry, or stack height yet…
It also gets a new engineered mesh upper with plenty of comfortable true to size room.
