Of the five towns of Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore has stayed with me as my favourite. I first visited by myself when I was 21, trying to recover from a heartbreak. I made some friends at the hostel, hiked between each town, ate endless pesto pizza and ended each day with a beer in hand while watching the sun set over the ocean from this spot.
